MEET THE NURSERY TEAM

Rachael Witts - Nursery Team Leader/Senior Keyworker

Miss Rachael has been employed at Toadhall Montessori for over 16 years and has gained her CCLD Level 3 and CCLD Level 5. Rachael has completed the 10-Day Art of Leadership external training, along with our 8 session in-house Leadership and Management training course. She is a qualified OCN Level 3 Forest School Leader. Rachael is Senior Keyworker to the Toadies group. As Nursery Team Leader, Rachael is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the day to day organisation, leadership and management of the nursery. Rachael is also Curriculum Leader at Nursery and works closely with Sandy to ensure the best outcomes for all of the children.

Sarah Richards - Nursery Deputy Team Leader/Senior Keyworker

Miss Sarah joined the Toadhall Montessori team in 2018 and has gained her Level 6 Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She is currently undertaking her CCLD Level 5 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, which will incorporate leadership and management knowledge, understanding and skills. Sarah has also completed the 8 session in house Leadership and Management training programme. Sarah, supports Miss Rachael as Nursery Deputy Team Leader and acts as Team Leader in her absence. Sarah is also Senior Keyworker to the Badgers group.

Abbigayle Fricker - Nursery Assistant Deputy Team Leader /Senior Keyworker

Miss Abbi has been at Toadhall Montessori for 9 years and has gained her CCLD Level 3 and completed the ILM Level 2 in Leading Teams. She has also completed her CCLD Level 5, along with our in house, 8 session, Leadership and Management programme. Miss Abbi supports the leadership team and Miss Rachael in the Toadies group at nursery.

Nia Edwards – Senior Keyworker for the Moles group

Miss Nia has been with Toadhall Montessori for 9 years and has gained a BA Hons Degree (Level 6) in Early Years Childhood Studies and gained her MA (Level 7) in Developmental and Therapeutic Play in June 2014. Nia is also a fluent Welsh speaker. Nia has also gained her CCLD Level 5 and has also completed the level 5 ‘management’ module to extend this award along with the in house,8 session, Leadership and Management programme. She has also gained a qualification in teaching Yoga to young children. Nia is responsible for the Moles group at Nursery and the transition of children moving from creche to nursery. She also leads the Welsh language teaching and learning within the nursery setting.

Victoria Want – Keyworker to the Badgers group

Miss Victoria joined the Toadhall Montessori team in November 2020 and has gained her Level 6, BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies and her Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. She supports Miss Sarah in the Badgers group.

Joanna Pinch – Keyworker to the Moles group

Miss Joanna commenced in November 2020 and has gained her Level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development. She supports Miss Nia in the Moles group.

Paige Morgan – Assistant Keyworker to the Toadies group

Miss Paige joined the Toadhall Montessori team in January 2021and is working towards gaining her Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. She supports Miss Rachael in the Toadies group.
